Facilities for Children
Our aim is for all the family to have a relaxing holiday at Strathconon.
Facilities for children include:
Cots, high chairs and stair gates included in the rental cost.
Baby changing mat, baby gym, bouncy chair, baby bath seat and toys. Baby monitor and childrens crockery.
Coat pegs at just the right height for you, child sized hangers in the wardrobes for your clothes, blackouts blinds in the bedrooms to give the grown ups a long lie and step up stools so you can reach the basins to wash your hands easily. Strathconon has nine resident teddy bears, ideal for collecting and taking to bed with you to make you feel more at home, in fact you may not want to leave!
Playstation 2 along with a selection of games is provided for older children and for outdoors, games including a badminton set, swings ball tennis, buckets, spades and skipping ropes.
Old family favourites such as scrabble, cluedo, monopoly, and trivial pursuit will keep the whole family entertained on a quiet evening in.
We are only 300 yards from the seafront and within easy walking distance of the beach at Whiting Bay. About a mile from the cottage is a children’s playpark and along the seafront is a putting green. Four miles to the south you will find the lovely beaches at Kildonan.
